Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo [Blu-ray] [2009]
Beautifully filmed and well directed. The essence of Book 1 of the trilogy is well and coherently told but in doing so looses a lot of the complexity and excitement of the original story. The acting is first rate
throughout the film.

Looking forward to seeing the next part of the trilogy.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - films
After reading the STEIG LARSSON trilogy & being totally gripped from beginning to end in all 3 books, I really looked forward to the first film but was a little disappointed as the film had been dubbed.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
I found this film an exciting experience that followed the story well. It appears that negative comments by some other reviewers are misplaced and their comments actually refer to the original story rather then the itself film. I am looking forward to seeing the sequels as they become available. I recomend this DVD.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Girl Dragon Tattoo DVD
This is an excellent film, very true to the book. The scenery of Sweden was beautiful. The characters were portrayed as one imagined from the book. loved it.-

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The first part of the trilogy
The film is excellent. It is well acted, has a tight script and keeps your attention, the 3 key points in film making. The story is fairly novel and the lack of predictibility is something that I do look for in films. There is nothing worse than having a very familiar plot with no twists or turns. I look forward to the second part of the trilogy.
